Christmas Surprise!!!

So I want to give you a little update about my Christmas Surprise. Jeremie and I state every year that "we are not going to spend a lot on Christmas" every year we spend way toooo much on Christmas. This year wasn't any different. Jeremie always wants to keep track of how much we spend, I always say it doesn't matter. He always says I always out-do him, so this year not to be out-done he decided we needed to add a new addition to the family. He decided we needed a new baby ferret to go with the other three (even though we have said on many occasions we are not buying anymore baby ferrets). He went to two different stores looking for the perfect ferret, but didn't find the perfect ferret instead he found the perfect bird. Yes I said bird! We don't have birds we haven't had birds and frankly I didn't have any intention of getting a bird. But now we have Charlie. Here is the telephone conversation.....first the text message...."call me as soon as you can, I need help with your Christmas present"....(I was in the hospital on balloon call, so I couldn't call immediately)....Next text message...."when are you going to be home, I need your help"...I call Jeremie. "What do you need help with?" "Your Christmas Present!" Jeremie, what type of animal did you buy? "It's not a ferret" What type of cat did you buy? "It's not a cat or a dog" Jeremie, what type of BIRD did you buy? "how did you know?" Jeremie, why did you buy a bird? "he was cute" Jeremie, we don't know what to do with a bird "I know"..........
So now we have a new addition Charlie the cockatiel, all because Jeremie didn't want to be out-done on Christmas.

Don't worry we love Charlie and I think Charlie loves us, but we don't know how to take care of birds, but we didn't know how to take care of ferrets and now we have had 11 over the years.
